​The Root of Chaos followed The Typists in a performance of two one act plays. This piece, rooted in hyper realism at the start, slowly loses that ground as the show progresses. While using the same plot as ​Typists, Chaos also featured several practicals including two lamps, a fridge light, an oven burner, and a blinking wall panel. The show included two explosions, for which I used pyro in combination with stylized lighting looks to simulate the gas explosion and lighting strike.
